Dr. Roberta Ruggeri was born on the east coast and grew up Walla Walla, Washington. She attended college at Mount Holyoke College majoring in biology and Italian literature. After exploring different career options she attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences and completed residency in Portland in family practice. She enjoys running, exploring music, and spending time with her husband and daughter. In the winter find her snowboarding, in the summer stand up and paddle boarding. Being in a small primary care office is a dream come true.
Dr. Jami Silflow is thrilled to be working in this small community clinic. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho, then moved to California where she completed medical school at Western University of Health Sciences. She finished a family medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. She provides full spectrum care from newborns to the geriatric population. Her main interest as a family physician is to focus on the prevention of disease and work with patients to help them achieve optimal health and well being.
Carolyn Bell is the lovely, friendly smiling woman at the front desk. Hers is the most common voice heard by all patients. She is a true patient advocate working hard for you.
Dorothea Sorenson is the front co-pilot. Also a friendly greeter who works hard on prescriptions, approvals, and referrals. Few can fax as fast as she.
Dee Rund is our extraordinary back office woman who handles all referrals, therapy requests and home health. There is not a thing she cannot do.
Carmen Schmit is our lead Medical Assistant handling direct patient care. Always in direct communication with the physicians, she can answer most questions and is always willing to help.
Trista Westwood is the youngest and of the bunch. She is an excellent Medical Assistant who will help in any way she is able. She may be young, but she can draw blood as well as any old timer.
We all recommend: Hugging your loved ones daily. Enjoying nature whenever you can. Getting good sleep. Being grateful. Finding appreciation in every day.
